Since October 2006 Kretzschmar took over the representation of SR Drive Manufacturing Ltd. located in Harrogate (GB) for Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Swiss and Luxembourg.

SR Drives Manufacturing Ltd. (SRDML) was established in 1999 to meet an ever increasing demand for industrial SR Drives® systems which hitherto had been manufactured by third parties under licence from SR Drives Ltd. which was founded in 1980. 

SR Drives Ltd. holds the largest patent portfolio in the world for switched reluctance technology and it is made available to SRDML along with design and engineering expertise.

The design of special motors for various applications belongs to our key competences. Beyond many other products segments the following focuses did come up.
Submersible motors (direct drives without gear) and gear motors, special motors for ventilators and furnaces with high shaft end temperatures (750 to 1200 °C) as well as high vacuum and/or over pressure conditions. Vibration motors up to 250 kW and special adapted motors for actuators as they are often needed in power plants belong also to our portfolio. Sinusoidal Motor Efficiency Controller

The SinuMEC (Sinusoidal Motor Efficiency Controller) is a three phase induction motor controller that on one hand improves motor efficiency by controlling voltage supplied to the motor providing on the other hand the advantages of a soft starter. Built around patented technology, the SinuMEC provides pure SINUSOIDAL voltage waveform when the motor starts and while it runs. When the motor operates at partial load, the SinuMEC automatically reduces the voltage supplied to it, thus enabling improved motor performance, energy savings and uncompromised operations.
The SinuMEC is available in the power range from 7,5 kW up to 150 kW.
